Selection questions

Does a 20 W laser deliver 20 W of electrical power?

No. The laser rating is optical output. Electrical power at the load also depends on transmission, coupling, LPC conversion, temperature and power-management losses.

Is every product required for an LPC system?

No. Laser power components, power modules and measurement equipment serve different tasks. Select only what the power-delivery or test application requires.

Can distance and end-to-end efficiency be specified immediately?

First define the source, fiber or free-space path, receiver area, beam profile, load and cooling. Distance and efficiency follow a power budget and prototype validation.
